THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, To the Sheriff of Fluvanna County - Greeting: WE command you to summon Nathanial P. Cocke to appear before the Master Comr of our County Court of Fluvanna, at the Court House thereof, on the 7th day of July 1845, to testify and the truth to speak on behalf of Holeman Bragg in a certain matter of controversy depending and undetermined before said Comr between Hardin & Wife Plts and said Bragg Deft and this he shall in no wise omit under the penalty of £100. And have then there this writ: Witness Wm. E. SHEPHERD, Master Comr of our said Court, this 18th day of January 1845 in the 69th year of the Commonwealth Wm. E. Shepherd M.C.C.C.
