The Commonwealth of Virginia: TO THE SHERIFF OF Sussex COUNTY - GREETING: WE command you that you summon George W. Parham & Dr. Benjamin Franklin Epes & Ann E, his appear at the Clerk's Office of our Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the County of Greensville, on the first Monday in April next, that being a Rule day of our said Court, to answer a bill in Chancery exhibited against them & others in our said Court by Green Hill in his own right & as Administrator of his brother Richard Hill dec'd. John H. Edwards, Wm. Fowlkes & Margaret his wife, Wm. Vaughan & Mary his wife, who are part of the issue of Richard Hill dec'd, & others and unless they shall answer the said Bill within two months thereafter, the Court will take the same for confessed, and decree accordingly. And this they shall in no wise omit under the penalty of £100; and have then there this Writ.
