The defendant J M Chappell also excepts to the report of Commissioner Terry in taking an account of the negroes sold under a decree of the County Court because he does not allow commissions on the amount they were sold for the negroes were sold by Com [illegible] for $1306 and this defendant was appointed a collector of the Bond & is entitled to his commissions for collecting them. The Suit for the sale of these Negroes is still pending in the County Court. This defendant never purchased any of the negroes & was not in any way [illegible] in them.
