Question by same. What reason (if any) did Col Hill give for endorsing or becoming Security for Humphrey Tayler? Answer Answer He said Because Humphrey Tayler was a Business man. Question by Same in that conversation to which you allude, did Col Hill say that he was not in partnership with Humphrey Tayler? Answer - Yes he said he was not in copartnership with Either. Question By Same have you & Col. Henry Hill always been friendly & Intimate. Answer we have Question By same have you Ever heard Col Henry Hill Deny this Partnership at any other time Answer I never did Question by same Did you ever have any other conversation on that subject with Colo Hill, & when Colo Hill said he was not in partnership was he serious & positive?
