To Joseph Bruin & James Simpson Take notice that on Monday, the fourteenth day of October next, between the hours of nine in the forenoon and six in the afternoon of that day at the office of W. Arthur Taylor, in the Town of Alexandria we shall proceed to take the depositions of Mrs Mary Ann Masterson, Hinny Chatham, & others to be used as evidence for us in a suit now pending in the Circuit Superior Court of Law & Chancery for the County of Alexandria wherein we are plaintiffs & you are defendants, and if from any cause the taking of the said depositions shall not be commenced or being commenced shall not be completed on that day the taking of the same will be adjourned from time to time until the said depositions shall be completed.
