Abstract

Contains two petitions of sundry persons residing on or near the Fluvanna and Rivanna rivers asking that a ferry may be established from the fork of the Fluvanna & Rivanna Rivers to the estate of Philip Mayo in Cumberland County to the lands of Samuel Martin. One of the petitions is in the handwriting of Thomas Jefferson.
