The Needlework Guild of America Minute Sheet Court Street Baptist Church on that date. The election of officers then took place with Miss Jane Boyd Neely occupping the chair and the result was as follows: President - Mrs. Kenneth McAlpine; vice president, Mrs. L. McK. Jack; Secretary, Mrs. Robert R. Beaton; Treasurer, Miss Pauline Williams; Custodian of Reserve, Mrs. N. E. Adamson. As there was no other business the meeting adjourned. The following persons attended this meeting: Mrs. J. D. Collins, Mrs. Bristow, Miss Townsend, Mrs. W. W. White, Mrs. Helen F. Owen, Mrs. L. McK. Jack, Mrs. Eugene Lee, Mrs. Geo. Ish, Mrs. Emmerson Smith, Mrs. Beaton, Mrs. McAlpine, Misses Pauline Williams, Jane Boyd Neely and Anne Watts. The following articles were collected and distributed last May 10, 1944 at the annual exhibit: 2374 articles of wearing apparel and household linen from 13 sections. Due to the death of Mary F. Jennings, director of the Colored Division their report has never been received. Letter written.
