156 bargained, sold, exchangd and confirmd: and by thes pnts doe for me & my heyrs grant bargain, sell, exchang and confirm unto the sd John Womeck his heyrs & Ass. all that my Plantacon and parcell of land lyeing at Blackwater in Charles Citty County being about seaventy five acres. as it is now markt out from the land I gave my son John Farley his heyrs and Ass. for ever being about the like quantity of seaventy five acres. And all houses buildings fences, proffitts & emolumts [emoluments] uppon or belonging to the heerby granted land and Plantacon. To have & to hold the sd Land Plantacon & premisses. heerby granted or intended to be granted with all and every [illegible] appurtances unto the sd John Womeck his heyrs & Ass. to his and their sole use and behoof for ever. And I the sd John Farley senr & my heyrs shall and will Warrant and defend the sd heerby granted & exchanged land and plantacon and premises unto ye sd John Womeck his heyrs & Ass. forever against all claimes trouble encombrances and demands whatsoever. And that the sd John Womeck his heyrs & Ass. shall and may for ever soe quietly poses and enjoy the same granted premises with the appurtnances. And further that I the sd John Farley and Mary my wife shall and will make lawfull acknowledgmt heerof and surrender and releas of Dower in convenient time in the County Court of Charles Citty afforsd to the sd John Womeck his heyrs & Ass. forever. And for further assureing if need require make and doe and other act orderd as he or they shall reasonably require. for confirmacon whereof the sd John Farley senr bind my self my heyrs Execurs and admrs unto the sd John Womeck his heyrs & Ass. in twenty thousand pounds of merchantable tobacco & casq, and in testimony whereof I have heerunto putt my hand and seal this fourth day of October one thousand six hundred ninty two. This Indenture made the seaven and twentieth day of Aprill one thousand six hundred ninty three between Francis Ledbetter of the one part and Ann the wife of Thomas Daniell daughter of the sd Francis on the other part Wittneseth That the sd Francis Ledbetter of the naturall affection he beareth to his sd Daughter Ann and for the best support and mainteinance doth by thes pnts give and grant unto the sd Ann one hundred acres of land lyeing and being in Bristoll parish att Warockock in Charles Citty County being parcell of his the sd Ledletters Devidend wch hundred acres is thus bounded - begining att the South side of Warocock main branch at his upper line South to the next Corner [tree?] of the line wch turn's towards Hugh Lee's then along the next line of the sd Devidt towards Hugh Lee's afforsd soe farr as aright line thence to the sd main run or branch Warocock and the to mayn branch to the place begun will make upp and enclose the sd one hundred acres: togeather with all rights and priviledges members & appurtens to the sd one hundred acres belonging to have & to hold the sd hundred acres of land premises and appurtns to the sd Ann her heyrs and Ass. forever Wittnes my hand and seale. the day and year first above written.
