To his Excellency Sr. Edmond Andros Knt. his Maj'ties Left. [Lieutenant] and Govr. Generall of Virga. & the Honble. Councill of State

Thomas Ward in the behalfe of himselfe and the Ownrs. of the Sloope Content -

That whereas your Petitioner hath had a Tryall the fifteenth October last before the Honble. Generall Courts upon the Information brought by Joshua Broadbent upon the Seizure of the Sloope Content& Loadeing, and upon full heareing the said Information and Seizure was ---dismist, notwithstanding which the said Sloope and goods are not yett delivered to your Petitioner, by reason of which your Petitioner is very much hurt and damnified Your Petitioner therefore desires your Excellency and honble. Councill to grant an immediate order for the delivery of the said Sloope and goods that yo[u]r Petitioner may goe about his lawfull occasions & your Petitioner will ever pray etc.
