Edward Sheehy's Notes endorsed by Edward McLaughlin: Were discounted at the Bank of Potomac as follows ~ 1828 Viz Decr.12 = 1 note for $ 2000 - 1830 Jany 15 = 1 Do [note] " [for] 2000 - Feby 5 = 1 Do [note] " [for] 2000 - and they were contacted & renewed from time to time untill they all became due the 20th January 1832 Viz = 1 note for $1375 - 1 Do [note] " [for] 1900 - 1 Do [note] " [for] 1975 = Amounting to = $5250 = when they were amalgamated and one note substituted for the three, which note was renewed from time to time untill 15/18 April 1834 - when it became due and was protested ~ I hereby certify that the above is a correct account taken from the Books of the Bank of Potomac ~ this 13th day of November. 1841 Edwd.
