Monday Oct 27 [added later] (1919) Dear Miss Thompson - Writing on train as usual. I am deeply thankful you are back on the job. Will stop over in Franklin & do my best to see Mr Story. I got your special delivery in plenty of time, but it was easier to start than not having made all plans. I hope to reach Laurenceville [Lawrenceville] tomorrow. There is only one train a day on the Southern (except another at dead of night - I never minded dark till I was deaf.) Travel is difficult to a degree - I can't go to towns smaller than 4 or 500.
