Ryan February 10, 1916 Miss Ida M. Thompson Equal Suffrage League of Virginia Commercial Building Richmond, Virginia Dear Miss Thompson: First of all I want to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of January 10 enclosing 70¢ in payment of the following subscriptions: Mrs. O. Ostergren, 704 Seminary Ave., Ginter Park, Richmond, and Miss Rosalie King, The Hanover, Richmond. Also the receipt of 50¢ enclosed in your letter of February 3 in payment of extra copies of the January 15 Journal. I think that we have Miss Nora Houston's subscription straight now. The 50¢ you sent us January 21, together with the 50¢ you sent us January 11, have paid up the subscription until January, 1917. The back numbers from September until January will be sent to Miss Houston. The reason I did not answer your letters before this is simply that I wanted to give you definite information about our 30% commission offer, and about the new subscription blanks. The blanks will be ready soon, but just at present we have not decided about the commission offer. I think that the same allowance will be continued, but I cannot tell you exactly at the present moment. I will let you know as soon as possible, and until then the old offer will of course hold good. Sincerely yours, Agnes E. Ryan AER-S/EBM
