B.O. James, Secretary Jas. M Hayes, Jr. Chief Clerk

Mrs. B. B. Valentine, President, Equal Suffrage League of Virginia, 2338 Monument Avenue, CITY. My dear Mrs. Valentine:

I thank you for your kind invitation to attend Mass meetings at the Jefferson Hotel Auditorium on the evening of December 9, 10 and 11 at 8:15 o'clock, and in the afternoon of the 12th at 3 o'clock.
I have engagements for the evening of the 9 and 11, but it will give me pleasure to be with you on the evening of the tenth.
Senator Chamberlayne is an old college mate of mine and I am specially anxious to meet him again.
I expect Mrs. James and some other ladies will be with me, and for that reason I expect to be seated in the Auditorium.
                                Very sincerely yours,
                                                 B. O. James
