I Andrew Sample a native of Tyrone, in Ireland, of the age of 25 years, and now lately owing allegiance to His Majesty the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland do hereby declare that it is bona fide my intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to his said Majesty the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland ----- given under my hand and seal this 14th day of October 1826.
