Southampton Circuit Court, June Seven 1874 N. C. Wilson, an alien who has lately arrived in the United States and is desiring of being Naturalized a Citizen therof, this day appeared in Court and in pursuance of the act of Congress made a report of himself which report is on the following words to wit; " I N. C. Wilson make the following report of myself to the Superior Court of law for the County of Southampton in the State of Virginia, that is to say, I report that I was born at Copenhagen in the Kingdom of Denmark on the 20th day of January 1827. being now in the 48th year of my age , that I am subject to the King of Denmark, owing allegiance to that Monarch and no other, that I migrated from Denmark to the United States in the year 1818 and that I intend to settle myself in the County of Sussex, State of Virginia, one of the United States- Given under my hand June 11th 1874 N. C. Willson N. C. Willson a native of Denmark this day declared in Court that it is his bona fide intention to become a Citizen of the United States and in reverence forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, or Sovereignty, whatever, and particulalry to
