Virginia: In the Clerk's Office of the Corporation Court of the City of Petersburg. I, Walter Stewart, a native of Scotland, of the age of 43 years, and who arrived in this country in November 1883, do solemnly swear that it is bona fide my intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Edward VII King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and Emperor of India.
