The said William Rice being of lawful age & first sworn saith he heard Mr. Andrew Baker (now Dec'd) say the Plt. had bought his time of him & said the Plt. had hired himself our four years for 1200 lb Tobacco per year, and at the end of the four he freed him, the plt. - and further saith not
