Ans. I have. And further deponent saith not. Sylvester Graham State of Massachusetts, County of Hampshire, JP Town of Northampton, the eighth day of November, A.D. 1845. Then at the house of Sylvester Graham before us Oliver Warner and Charles P. Huntington Justices of the Peace for said county, personally appeared Sylvester Graham signer of the foregoing deposition, and before giving the same, made solemn oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God, that the facts which he should depose, should be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and afterwards on the same day was carefully examined and deposed as above, and after the said deposition had been carefully read to him subscribed the same as his own in our presence. The foregoing deposition is taken at request of Francis T. Anderson, Esq. in behalf of the Pffs. below named and under a commission form the Circuit Superior Court of Law & Chancery for Rockbridge County in the state of Virginia, to be used in a suit depending in said court, wherein Eunis, Andrew, & others, (Paupers) are Pffs. and Charlton's Administrator & others are Defts. and said commission is herewith returned. Notice of the time & place of taking said deposition in [illegible] duly given to the Dfts. and the Dfts. appear by S. E. Hartwell, Esq. [their?] counsel. C. P.
