Ansr I was acquainted with a Negro Woman named Easter who about forty years past had a Mulatto female Child who was named Ruth, the Said Easter belonged to my mother at the time of Ruth's birth And she kept her about four years when the said Easter and Ruth were carried into South Carolina Int'y 2nd Where was Ruth born Ans - in Anson County North Carolina Is or is not the Mulatto Woman who is now present and calls her self Ruth, the child of Easter? Ansr. It has been to long since Easter and Ruth was carried from these parts and Ruth was so very young that I cannot say, that she is the same, as
