Montgomery County Sct. Ruth, Abraham, Rhoda, Armistead, Washington, Juliet, & Charles complain of James Sallust in custody &c of a plea &c for this that the dft. on the [blank] day of [blank] at the county aforesaid & within the jurisdiction of the Superior of Court of law of said County with force & arms an assault did make upon the plaintiffs. & did then and there beat & illl treat them & did imprison them for a long space of time to wit for the space of six years & did then and there other wrongs to this plaintiff against the peace of the Comwth. & to the damage of the plaintiff. wherefore To wit
