The Commonwealth of Virginia to the sheriff of Franklin county Greeting we command you to Summon Hannah Bowles Phebe Puckett, Thomas Simmons, George Clybourn Joel Meador, Wm. Martin, Alexr. Ferguson Jno Meador Charles Simmons, Milley Clybourn Jerry Puckett Elisha Bowles Alexander Drake Geo Turnbull, Wm. Smith, to appear before the Justices of Montgomery County Court at the courthouse on the 4th day of the Court to be held in the month of April next which will be on Friday the Sixth day of April next to testify and the truth to say in behalf of Nanny Pege & others in a certain matter of controversy in our said Court depending and undetermined between the said Nanny Pege & others pltsffs & John Hook & Zachh.
