In the name of God amen I Jesse Wood the County of Campbell and State of Virginia being in sound mind memory and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die I do my last will and revoking all will heartofore made by me
IN the first my executrix and executors hear after named will pay all just debts or claim which at my death may be owing by me I do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament. I lend to my Wife Nancy Wood lands [illegible] and Negroes and the hole of my Estate Real and personal during her life the negroes not to be moved out of the County I order Tom and Patsy his Wife to take Nancy's children Six in Nomber Walker Mary Ann, Grifen, Dianner, William Lawson and Phill and old agg and raise them as your own and make them help alike own and after they come of age I give them all their freedom agg to Work for living my waggon and team I order to be kept and managed by Tom and Wiat After my wife's death if she servive me or mine if I survive her I give my Negroes all their freedom.
