1851 Decem: 6th Received of Robert H. Mayo the sum of Twenty five Dollars in full for the purchase of a negro man named Bob sold by me on the 3d of this month as Trustee and Commissioner under two decrees of Powhatan Circuit Court in the cases of Mayo v Thompson and others and Bob & Sheppard v Mayo &c the said Bob being sold until he shall attain the age of 30 years he being entitled to his freedom when he shall attain that age. The title to which negro I do warrant for the term aforesaid that is to say until he shall attain the age of 30 years, against all persons claiming under me but not otherwise.
