King William County Sst: Those are to certify that James Powell cam this day before me and made oath that some time in sber or the beginning of ober in 1720 Coll James Taylow surveyor demanded of William Richison either money or tobacco for the survey of the said Richisons land where he now lives in the said Powell [Heveing?] and Richison answered was that he had it not to pay Given under my hand this 6th day of June 1724 Jno.
