King William County Sst: These are to certify that Tomas Alling cam this day before me and made oath that he went To Coll James Taylors Dwelling house some time in the faull being in the year of our Lord 1722 and offered to pay him five pound currant money on the change h'd brought against William Richison for the land the said Richison [vows?] " [illegible]" on and coll James Taylors answer was that it was too late for he had disposed of the land other ways Given under my hand this 20th day of Aprill 1724 Jno.
