N. B. You will perceive that these claims a copy of which is on the opposite page were barred by the statute at Genl. Blackburns death - when old Mr. Mayse died. I gave the claim to Mr. [Fultz?] with the hope he would acknowledge & pay it - but he slipped off without letting [Fultz?] see him- if you can get anything for the estate I should be gratified Yrs John H.
