Scottville July 6,/80. Miss Lilly Gilkeson, - Remembered friend; Herewith I send you a copy of some resolutions adopted by the board of trustees which they requested me to send you. We regret very much that Mr. Guthrie is not coming back to Scottville this fall for we all thought if he came back you would come. I have been very lonely since Frank left: had not Tom Carpenter been with me a great deal of the time I don't know how I could have stood it. Home does not look natural at all without Frank & Sallie.
