Dear Sir I have received your letters containing drafts for me one for $250.00 on the on the Bank of the Republic New York - and one for $275.00 dated March 29 1860 on the Bank of America New York, drawn to your order, but not endorsed to me by you which is necessary before it is of any value to me - it has nonpleased me very much, I suppose it was an over sight upon your part. Now will will you be kind enough to impower Wm. Mark Brumagim [?] of San Francisco
