Virginia, As a Monthly Court held for Henrico County at the Courthouse on monday the fifth day of February, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, and in the forty fifth year of the Commonwealth. William Smyth, a native of Ireland, having three years previous to the date hereof, declared an oath, in the Court of the County of Alexandria, District of Columbia, his intention to become a citizen of the United States, this day proved to the Satisfaction of the Court, that he has resided within the United States five years at least, and within this State five or years at least, and during that time has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same, and having taken the oath required by an act of Congress, is admitted a citizen of the said United States of America.
