I John Glancy in order to become a citizen of the U. S. do make the following report of myself to the County Court of Norfolk County. I report that I was born in [Lesthern?] Co., in Ireland in the year 1833, being now in the 22nd year of my age - that I am a subject of Great Britain, owing allegiance to that monarch and none other; that I migrated to the U. S. in the year 1853 & that I intend to settle myself in the County of Norfolk in the State of Virginia one of the United States. Given under my hand this 19th day of Feb. 1855. John Glancy
