I Joseph Duncan do make the following report of myself to the County Court of Norfolk in the State of Virginia; that is to say, I report that I was born at the County of Galway Ireland in the Kingdom of Great Britain, in the "[blank]" day of November in the year 1827, being now in the 24th year of my age that I am a subject of the Queen of Great Britain owing allegiance, to that monarch and none other; that I migrated from Great Britain to the United States, in the year 1848 and that I intend to settle myself in the county of Norfolk, in the State of Virginia one of the United States. Given under my hand this 17th day of March in the year 1837.
