District of Columbia County of Alexa. James Robinson appeared in open Court & made oath that Robert Shinn when he arrived in the United States was a minor and that he has resided in the United States three years next preceeding his arriving at the age of twenty one years and that he has continued to reside therein up to the present time, that he is now upwards of twenty one years of age and has resided five years including the aforesaid three years within the United States and that during the time it has been bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States.
