United States of America. {seal} District of Columbia, COUNTY OF ALEXANDRIA, to wit: I, Edmund I. Lee, Clerk of the United States Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, for the County of Alexandria, Do hereby Certify, That on the 26th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one personally appeared, Edward Sheehy who reported himself and stated that he is twenty nine years of age...that he was born and formerly resided in the County of Tiperara from whence he has emigrated...that he is a subject of and owes allegiance to King of the United Kingdom of G.B. and Ireland and that he intends to settle in Alexandria, within the jurisdiction of the United States.
