District of Columbia County of Alexandria George Durcale appeared before me and made Oath that John Kincaid has resided within the District of Columbia for one year Immediately last past, and that this Depo has been acquainted with the said John Kincaid for upwardly of Two years during which time he has behaved as a man of good Moral Character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order & happiness of the same Given under my hand this 10th day of December 1803 George Hacum to the Court from a Certificate of John Lawson Clerk of the District Court of Dumfries that he made oath in open court that it was bona fide his Intention to become a Citizen of the United States on the 7th October 1798 and at which time he made a declaration of his Intention to become a Citizen & and to renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to Foreign prince, potentate State or Sovereignty whatever particularly that of Great Britain, and it appearing to this Court upon affidavit that he has resided one year Immediately last & all within the D. of Co. and thereupon
