VIRGINIA, Clerk's Office of ALEXANDRIA COUNTY COURT, September 3d 1856. David Haas a native of Holland who arrived in this Country in the month of June 1841, declared, on oath, in said Office, that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the King of Holland. State of Virginia County of Alexandria Teste: I, Benjamin H. Berry, Clerk of Alexandria County Court, do certify that the foregoing is a true transcript from the records of said Court. In Testimony whereof I hereto subscribe my name & affix the seal of said Court this 15" day of February 1857 & in the 81" year of the Commonwealth. B.H. Berry, Clerk
