District of Columbia County of Alexandria Sct.

Thomas Cook personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the United States Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid, and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that he became acquainted with Isaac Entwile some time in the year 1801 say = 1801 and he believes that it was in the Spring or beginning of the summer in that Year and he has been ever since a resident of this County, and that he is a man of Good moral Character, and he believes that the said Entwisle is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order & happiness thereof
