District Court of the United States of America for the New York District} Ss: I John Cunningham late of Scotland now of the City of New York in the New York District Grocer aged thirty-one years being duly sworn, declare that it is Bona Fide my intention to become a Citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all Allegiance and Fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever and particularly to the King of Great Britain whereof I am now a subject.
