District of Columbia County of Alexandria } Sct. Anthony Crease personally appeared before me the undersigned Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid and made Oath on the holy Evangelists that John Hippesly Crease has resided within the limits and under the Jurisdiction of the United States for five years and upwards last past and within the District of Columbia more than one year immediately last past, and that the said John Hippesley Crease has during his said residence behaved himself as a man of good moral character attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. Given under my hand this 5th day of July 1811 C. A. Faur
