In the Circuit Court of Rockingham County

Upon the motion of Samuel Klingstein for naturalization, it appearing to the Court that he was a native of Bavaria, that he has resided in the United States at least five years, and has resided within the same more than three years before attaining the age of twenty one years, and has also resided within the State of Virginia more than one year previous to making this motion, and that during the time of his residence in the said United States and said state he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same, and he having declared on oath that he will support the constitution of the United States, and that he renounces all allegiance & fidelity to every foreign prince or State and particularly his allegiance and fidelity to Louis II King of Bavaria, it is ordered that the said Samuel Klingstein be and become a citizen of the United States of America.
