Virginia to wit At a Court held for the County of Shenandoah on monday the 8 day of June 1840. Daniel Hurla late from the county of Cork, Ireland, in the kindom of Great Brittain declared upon oath that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States of America and openly renounced forever all allegiance and fidelity of any foreign Prince Potentate State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Queen of Great Brittain and Ireland.
