ye 26 of ye 8 month 1711 Loving friend I have sent per Robt. ffendall some bills of ex: Viz: one bill for 20[s?] and another bill for 60[s?] [wth?] some money amounting to [8 pounds 2/6?] wch. I desire thee to send me word whether ffredrick Jones hath endorsed them or not and whether thee hast sent them for England or not. I suppose thee hast word of ye massacre we had hear wth. ye Indians they have killd abt: 100 people and have taken prisoners abt: 20 or 30 we are force to keep garisons and watch and Gard day and night wch. I suppose you have it all at large before now I desire thee to send me [a line?] pr ye first oprtunity and in soe doing thee will obledg him whoe is Thy reall friend
