Thompson on April 7, 1847. John Parks, born 1830. Nancy Ann Parks, born 1835. Markus Lafayette A. Parks was born 1838 or 39 in Effingham, Il. and married Sarilda C. Brockett on July 11, 1863. Sarilda was born May 3, 1845 to John L. Brockett and Amanda Martin. The children of Lafayette and Sarilda Parks are: Etta May, born July 1, 1864 in Illinois, married Preston Ely Davidson. Preston was born 1859 to Micajah C. and Sarah Hooten Austin Davidson. He died in 1931. Their children: Charles L. Davidson, born October 8, 1884 and died May 1, 1905 unmarried in Springfield, Illinois. Jesse B. Davidson was born January 31, 1887 and married Mayme E. McDonald, daughter of John and Kate, on February 23, 1911. Jesse died December 26, 1940 leaving two daughters, Phyllis Marie Lauchner, born in 1911 and Mabel Lucille Mills, born 1914. Second child of Lafayette and Sarilda Parks was Amanda. She was born in 1866 and married Creel Yates. Charles W. Parks was born in 1868 and married Clara M. Lecrone. He died in 1929. John L. Parks was born in 1871 and married Bertha Petticord. Della Parks was born 1873 and married John Cherry; she died 1841. Mayme Parks was born in 1880 and married Ben Schneider.
