Joseph B. Reese, who married Lucinda Hannon and lived in Trigg County, Kentucky. Samuel Reese, who lived in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Thomas P. Reese, who lived at Sedalia, Missouri. Rhoda P. Reese, who married Louis Daniel. Marlam Reese, who married Willis Willbanks on April 29, 1810. Polly C. (Mary) Reese, who married Slaton Bourland on October 9, 1815 and died on December 13, 1833. (Slaton was Andrew's brother.) My ancestress, Demaris D. Reese, born May 4, 1795, who married Andrew Bourland on January 13, 1816 and died May 18, 1876.

Demaris' mother, Anna (Nancy) Earle, was daughter of Baylis and Mary Prince Earle. Baylis was born August 8, 1734 in Stafford County, Virginia. Baylis was born August 8, 1734 in Stafford County, Virginia. He lived in Frederick County, Virginia; coming to South Carolina in 1773. Baylis was a member of South Carolina Senate and House; a Justice. He and his family joined the Baptist Church in Virginia in 1770 and founded Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Landrum, South Carolina. He was clerk there in 1803. Baylis married Mary Prince on April 16, 1757 in Frederick County, Virginia. Mary, daugher of John Prince and Sarah Berry, was born December 19, 1744. They had 14 children: Sarah (Sallie) Earle was born January 4, 1757 in Frederick County. * (please look at conclusion of Chapter 2 for Capt. Samuel Earle.) Sallied married (1) Col. Edward Hampton (2) Charles Littleton.

John (Jack) Earle was born 1762 and died at age of 5 in Virginia.

Anna (Nancy) Earle was born December 24, 1764 and married Capt. Ephraim T. Reese.

John Earle, Jr. was born Sept. 18, 1766 and married Nancy Holland Burns before 1790; went to Christian County, Kentucky and Muhlenburg County, Kentucky by 1800; Pontotoc, Mississippi and died in 1818.
