This Agreement made and entered into this 23rd day of October 1903 between Miss Anna M. Riddell and Dr. M. P. Jones witnessed that for one Dollar cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the said Riddell has sold to said Jones the farm known as the John Armstrong farm, lying on Jennings Branch, on the following terms, to wit: said Jones to pay twenty- eight (28) dollars per acre, twelve-hundred (1200) dollars to be on the first day of March 1904, and the residue in three equal annual pay-ments, evidenced by the bond of said Jones bearing date on the first day of March 1904 with interest from date with the vendors lien retained as security. Said Riddell agrees to give full possession on sd 1st day of March 1904 and make a satisfactory general warranty deed. Said Jones agrees to pay five (5) Dollars for grass seed sown and said Riddell's 1/3 share of of Fertilizer and receive her share of wheat crop. Witness the following signatures and seals the year and day first above written. Sd. Riddell reserves firewood for herself and tenant but to use no other timber. A.M.L. Riddell Seal M. P.
