KNOW YE, that we, trusting to your fidelity, and provident circumspection, in diligently examining Edmund Webb, William Wright, Robert Wright, John Baird, Peter Jones and Francis Jones, witnesses for Richard Russell in a suit depending and undetermined in our District Court of Brunswick between the said Russell, plaintiff, and Austin Wright, defendant (In Case)
command you, or any two or more of you, that at such certain time and place, as you shall appoint, you assemble yourselves, and the witnesses aforesaid before you, you call, and cause to come, and diligently examine, on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God, and examination into our Superior Court, held at Brunswick Courthouse, distinctly and plainly, without delay, you shall send, and certify, enclosed--returning also to us this writ: Witness Robert Turnbull, Clerk of our said Court, the 7th day of May 1806, in the 30th year of our foundation.
