In obedience to the annexed Commission to us directed by the Superior Court, held at Brunswick Courthouse in the Commonwealth of Virginia in a certain matter of controversy therein depending wherein Richard Russell is Plaintiff and Austin Wright is Defendant we have caus'd William Person, John W Daniel, John Mayfield, William Williams, John Simms, John Booth, Buckner Davis, to appear before us at the Court House in Warrenton on Monday the 15th day of September 1805 both partys being Present. who being First Severally Sworn doth depose & say as follows - William Person being first examined Question by Defendt } What character does Richard Russell support Generally -- is it a Fair or Black Character.
