Abstract

Contains a petition from William Churchill on behalf of Edward Lemon, owners of the Ship Wolf, to Governor Edmund Andros. The petitioner asks for an order to the Lords of the Admiralty for the payment of the men who served onboard the ship under its late Master Edward Purvis who departed the county contrary to an order of Council. According to the petition, these men were serviceable to Purvis in getting off his ship when she ran aground.
