Abstract

Terrell Llewellyn Ellyson was born 28 July 1916 in New Kent County, Virginia. A farmer, he enlisted in the United States Army 9 February 1942, serving with the 1928th Ordnance Ammunition Company (Aviation). Ellyson rose to the rank of sergeant before being honorably discharged from the service 29 December 1945. He returned to farming in New Kent County. Ellyson married Eleanor George Clark (1927-2000) 21 March 1962. He died 6 June 2009 in New Kent County and is buried in the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery.
