Abstract

Contains a deposition of Adam Wallace sworn before John Murray regarding the case of John Bowyer who refused to follow the orders of Col. Andrew Lewis to have a certain number of men in readiness in case of further hostilities. According to the deposition, Bowyer afterwards disregarded other orders from Col. Lewis for sending out men in defense of the frontiers.
