Abstract

Contains a certificate of the Henrico County Court, dated 11 Oct. 1773, regarding the valuation of Dagon, a slave belonging to Alexander King of Hanover who was condemned to be hanged. The order is signed by John Pendleton, Clerk of Henrico County. The certificate was assigned to William Pollard by Alexander King and certified by Jerry Jones on 17 Jan. 1774.
